Our story

Our materials

Most of our shoes are made from crust leather, which leaves the tannery without its final colour so our colourist can colour it by hand. It takes patina deeply and evenly, and it changes with age.

Leather chosen for how it ages

We buy our crust leather from well-known tanneries in Thailand, chosen for the quality of their hides. We want to support Thai-made products, and the leather is where that starts.

Our sneakers use soft nappa, and some seasons call for suede.

Soles

Goodyear-welted and hand-welted pairs have leather soles, which we replace in our workshop. Some models have rubber soles for grip on city streets and in the rain. Each product page lists the sole and the construction.

Made in Thailand

Our leather comes from Thai tanneries, and Thai shoemakers cut, sew and finish every pair in our Bangkok workshop.
